I have been accepted to a doctoral program in California that studies academic leadership. Since I currently teach at a community college full-time and a university part-time, both of which are located in a mainly agricultural area, I am particularly interested in focusing my work on issues regarding rural and migrant farmer education. Without the assistance of grants and/or sholarships, my ability to pay for my education will be compromised greatly. I am hoping to avoid loans if at all possible.
